POSTING PLACES

1.20.010 Designated.

The three most public places in the city to be designated as the places for posting of public notices are declared to be, and are, as follows:

A.    Bulletin Board, City Hall, 1 Plaza;

B.    Bulletin Board, Hammon Senior Center, 1033 W. Las Palmas Avenue;

C.    Bulletin Board, Patterson Branch—Stanislaus County Public Library, 46 Salado Avenue/48 Salado Avenue. (Ord. 722, 2011: Ord. 531, 1995; Ord. 299 § 1 (part), 1978).

1.20.020 Unauthorized posting—Defacing prohibited.

The bulletin boards shall be designated and known as “City Bulletin Boards,” and any person not authorized by the ordinances of the city or the acts of the city council who places thereon any bill, advertisement, card, poster or other document, whether written or printed, or tears off, mutilates, removes or defaces any document, notice, poster, bill or other written or printed instrument whatever, which has been placed on the city bulletin boards, or any of them, by an officer or other person authorized to do so, or who defaces, destroys or mutilates such boards, or any of them, in any authorized manner, shall be deemed guilty of an infraction.
