COMPENSATION OF CITY OFFICIALS

All officers and employees of the city of Patterson shall receive such compensation as shall be fixed by resolution of the city council. All city council members and mayor of the city of Patterson shall receive such compensation as shall be fixed by ordinance of the city council. (Ord. 587, 1999: Ord. 72 § 5, 1933).
2.12.020 City councilmembers’ stipend.
A. Upon a councilmember beginning a new term following the November 3, 2020, general municipal election, each member of the city council shall receive, as a stipend, the sum of three hundred ninety-six dollars per month as prescribed in Section 36516 of the Government Code of California at the same time and in the same manner as the salaries are paid to other officers and employees of the city.
B. In accordance with the provisions of Government Code Section 36516.1, the elected mayor of the city shall receive, as a stipend, the sum of six hundred sixty dollars per month, which shall be payable at the same time and in the same manner as the salaries are paid to other officers and employees of the city.
