ACTION ON TENTATIVE MAP

16.32.010 Time for action.

The planning commission shall make its written report on the tentative map to the city council within fifty days after acceptance for filing thereof with the planning director. The secretary of the commission shall transmit a copy thereof to the subdivider not later than ten days following the action of the planning commission. (Ord. 508 § 2 (part), 1993).

16.32.020 Consideration of tentative map.

At the next regular meeting of the city council following the filing of the report of the planning commission, the city council shall fix a date at which the tentative map will be considered by it, which date shall not be more than thirty days thereafter. (Ord. 508 § 2 (part), 1993).

16.32.030 Public hearing.

The city council shall hold a public hearing on the tentative map and notice thereof shall be given as provided in Section 66451.3 of the Subdivision Map Act. Any interested person may appear at such hearing and shall be heard. (Ord. 508 § 2 (part), 1993).

16.32.040 Action by city council.

At the conclusion of the hearing, the city council shall approve, conditionally approve or disapprove the tentative map and shall report its action to the subdivider and the planning commission not later than ten days following its action. (Ord. 508 § 2 (part), 1993).
