21.01.030    Discrimination in housing – Violation and penalty.

21.01.010 UNLAWFUL TO DISCRIMINATE.

It shall be unlawful for any person having the right to rent or lease any housing accommodation to discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, personal appearance, pregnancy or tenancy of a minor child except as provided for by state law.

21.01.020 Repealed by Ord. 2010-17 § 2.

21.01.030 DISCRIMINATION IN HOUSING – VIOLATION AND PENALTY.

Any violation of this chapter shall be deemed an infraction for the first offense. Any subsequent violation occurring within six months from the first offense shall be deemed a misdemeanor. In addition to any other available remedies and penalties, said offense(s) shall be subject to the remedies and penalties provided for in Title 4.
