9.45.010 Felton Library Parking Only zone.

Under the provisions of California Vehicle Code Section 22507, the Board of Supervisors does hereby ordain that a Felton Library Parking Only zone be established in the area of the Felton Library for the use of library patrons. [Ord. 5316 § 9, 2019; Ord. 3741 § 1, 1986].

9.45.030 Felton Library Parking Only zone description.

The Felton Library Parking Only zone shall consist of the parking space available on the east and west sides of Gushee Street for a distance of 100 feet from the corner of Gushee Street and Felton Empire Road. [Ord. 5316 § 9, 2019; Ord. 3741 § 1, 1986].

9.45.040 Hours of restricted parking.

The Felton Library Parking Only zone restrictions on Gushee Street shall be in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. [Ord. 5316 § 9, 2019; Ord. 3741 § 1, 1986].

9.45.050 Posting of parking restrictions.

The Director of the Department of Public Works shall cause appropriate signs to be erected prominently indicating the conditions under which parking restrictions shall be enforced. [Ord. 5316 § 9, 2019; Ord. 3741 § 1, 1986].

9.45.060 Enforcement.

Pursuant to the provisions of California Penal Code Section 836.5, the Felton Library librarian and their delegated subordinates are authorized to enforce the provisions of this chapter and issue citations for violations. In addition, the Sheriff and the California Highway Patrol may also enforce the provisions of this chapter. [Ord. 5316 § 9, 2019; Ord. 3741 § 1, 1986].

9.45.070 Violation.

It is unlawful and a violation of this chapter for any person to stand or park a motor vehicle in the Felton Library Parking Only zone except as permitted by this chapter. Such violation shall be subject to a civil penalty, the enforcement of which shall be governed by the civil administrative procedures set forth in Division 17, Chapter 1, Article 3 (commencing with Section 40200) of the California Vehicle Code.
