Chapter 5 entitled “Plumbing Code,” consisting of Section 8-5.01, codified from Ordinance No. 1229-07 (CM), eff. January 1, 2008, was repealed and replaced by Ordinance No. 1271-10 (CM), eff. January 1, 2011.
Chapter 5, consisting of Section 8-5.01, codified from Ordinance No. 1271-10 (CM), effective January 1, 2011, was repealed and replaced by Ordinance No. 1297-13 (CM), effective January 1, 2014.

8-5.01 Adoption of the California Plumbing Code.
Except as provided herein, the 2022 California Plumbing Code (Part 5 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations) is hereby adopted as the Plumbing Code of the City of Watsonville.
(a) The following provisions are hereby rejected and not adopted:
(1) CPC Section 103, Duties, Powers and Authority Having Jurisdiction;
(2) CPC Section 104, Permits;
(3) CPC Section 106, Violations and Penalties;
(4) CPC Section 107, Appeals Board;
(5) CPC Section 102.7, Moved Structures;
(6) CPC Appendix A, Recommended Rules for Sizing the Water Supply System;
(7) CPC Appendix B, Explanatory Notes on Combination Waste and Vent Systems;
(8) CPC Appendix C, Alternate Plumbing Systems;
(9) CPC Appendix D, Sizing Stormwater Drainage Systems;
(10) CPC Appendix E, Manufactured/Mobile Home Parks and Recreational Vehicle Parks;
(11) CPC Appendix F, Firefighter Breathing Air Replenishment Systems;
(12) CPC Appendix G, Sizing of Venting Systems;
(13) CPC Appendix H, Private Sewage Disposal;
(14) CPC Appendix I, Installation Standards for Pex Tubing for Hot and Cold Water Distribution;
