15.05.010 Application and scope of title.

Under the provisions of Section 19825(a), Chapter 9, Part 3, Division 13, Health and Safety Code, State of California, the regulations adopted in the following chapters are determined to provide restrictions equal to or greater than those promulgated by and pursuant to Division 13, Health and Safety Code, State of California, relating to apartment houses, hotels and dwellings. 15.05.020 Fire zones.

There are established in the city the following described fire zones:

(1) Fire Zone No. 1. Commencing at the point of intersection of the centerline of Willow and Tehama Streets; south on Tehama to the centerline of Oak Street; thence west on Oak Street to the centerline of the alley between Butte and Shasta Streets; thence north upon this alley to the centerline of Willow; and thence east on Willow to the point of beginning.

(2) Fire Zone No. 2. Commencing at the point of intersection of the centerline of State Highway Route 45 (Wood Street) and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks north; thence south of the centerline of the railroad right-of-way to the centerline of Ash Street; thence west to the centerline of Butte Street; thence north on Butte Street to the centerline of Laurel Street; thence west on Laurel to the centerline of Shasta Street; thence north on Shasta to the centerline of Oak Street; thence west on Oak to the centerline of Plumas Street; thence north on Plumas to the centerline of Willow; thence east on Willow to the centerline of Shasta Street; thence north on Shasta to the centerline of State Highway Route 45 (Wood Street); and thence east on State Highway Route 45 (Wood Street) to its point of beginning.

(3) Fire Zone No. 3. All that portion of the city which is not included in Fire Zone No. 1 and Fire Zone No. 2. [Ord. 434 § 1, 4-19-66. Code 1959 § 5.12; prior code § 4-2].
