10.50.010 Prohibited parking.
No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle, except in compliance with the directions of a police officer or an official traffic control device, in any of the following places or manners:
(a) On any public roadway in the opposite direction of vehicle travel;
(b) In any designated bike lane;
(c) In violation of any posted signs or markings designating parking restrictions;
(d) In any designated fire lane or emergency vehicle turn-around or within 15 feet of a fire hydrant; or
(e) In a manner that obstructs or interferes with emergency vehicle access to any property within the town. [Ord. 977 § 4, 2022].
10.50.020 Violation.
(a) It is unlawful for any person to violate the provisions of this chapter.
(b) Every person convicted of a violation of this chapter shall be punished as set forth in GMC 1.05.090.
(c) The amount charged for parking violation fines may be reduced to $25.00 in order to incentivize early payment of the fine amounts. [Ord. 977 § 4, 2022].
