3.45.010 Establishment.

The Locust Hill Cemetery Perpetual Care Revolving Fund (hereafter known as “the fund”) is hereby established. [Ord. G-81-53, passed 12-14-81. 1962 Code, Art. 3, Ch. 28, § 1; 1982 Code § 30.385; 1983 Code § 3.30.385.]

3.45.020 Sources.

The fund shall be comprised of any and all money donated or appropriated for the perpetual care of any grave site at Locust Hill Cemetery. [Ord. G-81-53, passed 12-14-81. 1962 Code, Art. 3, Ch. 28, § 2; 1982 Code § 30.386; 1983 Code § 3.30.386.]

3.45.030 Purposes.

The fund shall be used for the care and maintenance of the grave sites and grounds and any necessary expenses incidental to their operation. [Ord. G-81-53, passed 12-14-81. 1962 Code, Art. 3, Ch. 28, § 3; 1982 Code § 30.387; 1983 Code § 3.30.387.]

3.45.040 Expenditures.

(A) The fund shall be deposited pursuant to the Indiana Depository Act (IC 5-12-1-1 et seq.) so that withdrawals from it can be made only as provided by statute or ordinance.

(B) The expenditures shall be made by the City Controller, who is not obligated to expend more than the interest earned on the sum deposited for the perpetual care of any lot. [Ord. 3.45.050 Revolving fund.

The fund shall be a revolving fund and shall not be commingled with any other funds. All sums remaining in the fund at the end of each year shall remain in the fund and shall not revert to any General Fund. [Ord.
