4.28.010    Fund No. 907 – Storm water utility fund

4.28.020    Fund No. 910 – Storm water depreciation fund

4.28.010 FUND NO. 907 – STORM WATER UTILITY FUND.

Fund No. 907 – Storm Water Utility Fund – for the receipt of fees assessed by the City of Southport Storm Water Utility Board and collected by the Marion County Treasurer through biannual billing and payment of expenses incurred in the management of the utility. The disposition of any remaining funds at that time will be determined by their origin and Indiana Code pertaining to the origin of the said funds and their use. (Ord. 2018.03, passed 9-17-2018)

4.28.020 FUND NO. 910 – STORM WATER DEPRECIATION FUND.

(A)    Revenues.

(1)    For the receipt of fees in excess of $5.00 per ERU established by the City of Southport Storm Water Utility Board and collected by the Marion County Treasurer through biannual billing;

(2)    Additional revenues may be transferred to this account from Fund No. 907 upon passage of a resolution approving the same.

(B)    Expenditures.

(1)    For the repair of the storm water system;

(2)    For new acquisition, construction, extensions, or additions to the property of the storm water system;

(3)    To transfer to the bond and interest redemption account (yet to be established) to prevent default;

(4)    The disposition of any remaining funds at that time will be determined by their origin and Indiana Code pertaining to the origin of the said funds and their use. (Ord. 2019.01 §§ 1, 2, passed 3-18-2019)
