10.08.010 STOP STREETS.

(A) Every driver of a vehicle shall bring such vehicle to a full and complete stop before entering any of the following streets in the city, except when directed to proceed by a police officer or traffic-control signal.

10.08.030 ERECTION OF STOP SIGNS.

Stop signs shall be erected at each of the intersections of the specified preferential streets and each such sign shall bear the word STOP in letters not less than six inches in height. Every such stop sign shall be located as near as practicable to the property line of the highway at the entrance to which the stop must be made or at the nearest line of the crosswalk at such intersection or if none at the nearest line of the roadway.

10.08.040 EMERGING FROM ALLEY.

The driver of a vehicle emerging from an alley, driveway or building shall stop such vehicle immediately prior to driving onto a sidewalk or into a sidewalk area extending across any alley or private driveway.
