COUNTY BOARD OF TAX ADJUSTMENT

3.06.010 Abolishment.
WHEREAS, I.C. 6-1.1-29-9 provides that a County Council may adopt an ordinance to abolish the Vanderburgh County Board of Tax Adjustment prior to July 1 of a given year; and
WHEREAS, the County Council of Vanderburgh County, Indiana desires to abolish the Vanderburgh County Board of Tax Adjustment;
WHEREAS, pursuant to 6-1.1-29-9, an ordinance to abolish the Vanderburgh County Tax Adjustment Board must be passed before July 1, 1993.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Council of Vanderburgh County, as follows:
1. That the Vanderburgh County Board of Tax Adjustment is hereby abolished;
2. That all other ordinances, resolutions or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions and intent of this ordinance are hereby repealed;
3. This ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 1994.
