Whenever the Director finds that there is a violation of the provisions of this title, the Director may petition the courts for injunctive relief, including but not limited to the issuance of a preliminary or permanent injunction to cease or remedy the violation, or for other legal and/or equitable relief as appropriate, including but not limited to environmental remediation.
