Subsections [A] 101.4.8, and [A] 101.4.9 are hereby added to the International Building Code and shall read as follows:

[A] 101.4.8 Electrical. The provisions of the National Electrical Code (as adopted by the City and set forth in Chapter 15.14 of the Olathe Municipal Code) shall apply to the installation of electrical systems, including alterations, repairs, replacement, equipment, appliances, fixtures, fittings and appurtenances thereto.

[A] 101.4.9 Swimming Pools and Spas. The provisions of the International Swimming Pool & Spa Code; (as adopted and set forth in Chapter 15.20 of the Olathe Municipal Code) shall apply to the installation of swimming pools, hot tubs, spas, and fixed in-place wading pools, including alterations, repairs, replacement, equipment, appliances, fixtures, fittings and appurtenances thereto.
