Section 903.1 of the International Plumbing Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

903.1 Roof Extension. Open vent pipes that extend through a roof shall be terminated not less than six inches (6") above the roof. Where a roof is to be used for any purpose other than weather protection, the vent extensions shall terminate not less than seven feet (7') above the roof.
