Where necessary to protect against escaping dangerous gases, explosion, unsafe buildings or structures, or other unsafe or dangerous physical conditions, designated City employees, including but not limited to law enforcement officers, fire fighters and code enforcement officers may order the evacuation of any part of the City or of any structures in the City. Any area or structure to be evacuated shall be a restricted area, which no person, other than authorized City employees, shall be permitted to enter. The Code Enforcement Officer shall have the authority to order any unsafe or dangerous structure or building to be taken down or repaired without delay and such action may be taken without prior notice to or hearing of the owners, agents, lien holders, and occupants pursuant to Section 15.36.050.
