There is hereby established a Parks Sales Tax Fund. Monies received from the one-eighth of one percent (.125%) retailers sales tax approved by the voters of the City and levied by the Governing Body, shall be placed in the fund. The revenue from the fund shall be used to acquire and improve public parks and recreation areas and a portion may be used to enhance library services. (Ord. 15-08 § 1, 2015; Ord. 00-08 § 1, 2000.)
