It shall be unlawful for any person to unlawfully take possession of any property, real or personal belonging to the City, or to the possession of which the City shall be entitled or to commit any trespass thereon or to unlawfully withhold any property from the City. The unlawful withholding of the possession of any property belonging to the City after demand therefore has been made under the direction of the Governing Body of the City shall be deemed a new and separate offense for each day the possession is withheld after such demand. Withholding possession of public property is a Class C Public Offense. (Ord. 03-117 § 8, 2003.)
