(A) Riot is five (5) or more persons, without authority of law, engaging in:

(1) Any use of force or violence which produces a breach of the public peace; or

(2) Any threat to use such force or violence against any person or property if accompanied by power or apparent power of immediate execution.

(B) Riot is a Class A public offense. (Ord. 21-32 § 3, 2021; Ord. 83-75 § 2, 1983.)
