ARTICLE II. DISTRICTS
50-36 City Council districts.
The City Council adopts City Council districts as represented in Plan A.
The effective date of representation of the new districts shall be the date for taking office of the first Council members elected therefrom and thereafter within one year after the official total population count of each federal census of the City of Pontiac is available. Such districts shall be as contiguous, compact and as nearly of equal population as is practicable.
The map of City Council districts as adopted shall be maintained by the City Clerk and made available to the public.
