10.04.010 Traffic regulations adopted by reference.

The town adopts and incorporates by reference as the duly enacted ordinances of the town all of MCA Chapter 8 and all of MCA Chapter 9 of Title 61, insofar as the statutes relate to traffic, pedestrian, vehicle and vehicle operator regulation within the incorporated boundaries of the town; and that in each place where reference is made in the statutes to state or county authority, the word "municipal" or "municipality" shall be substituted therefor. 10.04.020 Impounding regulations adopted by reference.

The provisions of MCA Chapter 12, Part 4, Title 61, relating to removal and sale of abandoned vehicles, are adopted by the town, and, to the extent that they apply to town police and town property, are made applicable to the town police department and the town. (Ord. 137 §2, 1989: Ord. 24, 1967)

10.04.030 Enforcement--Regulations adopted by reference.

The provisions of MCA Chapter 8 and Chapter 9 of Title 61, with respect to enforcement of the traffic regulation, shall apply to the town. (Ord. 89 §2, 1981)

10.04.040 Recovery of the cost of towing a vehicle to the impound lot.

The actual cost of towing an abandoned or impounded vehicle to the police department impound lot will be charged to the registered owner. The minimum charge will be twenty-five dollars. (Ord. 204 (part), 2000)

10.04.050 Recovery of the cost of storing a towed or impounded vehicle in the impound lot.

The cost of storage is established as twenty-five dollars per day for the first fourteen days (or partial days) of impound. After fourteen days, the cost is established as thirty-five dollars for every day (or partial day) from day fifteen through day ninety. (Ord. 204 (part), 2000)
