Chapter 17.20
B-2 COMMUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT

17.20.010 Intent.
The intent of this district is to provide for a broad range of retail and service functions throughout the business section of this community. (Ord. 93 §1 (10.1), 1982)
17.20.020 Permitted uses.
Permitted uses in the B-2 district are:
1. Antique shops;
2. Art and music supply stores;
3. Barber and beauty shops;
4. Bars, taverns and cocktail lounges;
5. Bowling alleys;
6. Conditional uses provided in Chapter 17.32 of this title;
7. Equipment sales and service;
8. Flower shops;
9. Food and drug stores;
10. Frozen food storage and locker rental;
11. Furniture stores;
12. Gasoline service stations;
13. Hardware stores;
14. Health clubs;
15. Hotels and motels;
16. Laundries and dry clearing establishments;
17. Liquor stores;
18. Lumber stores;
19. Mortuary;
20. Post offices;
21. Professional and business offices;
22. Retail shops such as:
a. Clothing,
b. Candy,
c. Jewelry, (but excluding heavy machinery);
23. Restaurants, cafes and drive-in eating establishments;
24. Shopping centers;
25. Signs;
26. Sporting goods stores;
27. Temporary buildings for and during construction only;
28. Theaters, except drive-in theaters;
29. Uses customarily accessory to those listed;
30. Vehicle and boat sales, showrooms, and service areas;
31. Veterinary clinics, small animal hospitals;
32. Wholesale establishments;
33. Single-family;
34. Multifamily;
35. Apartments;
36. Boarding houses;

17.20.030 Lot area and width.
Lot area for this district shall not be less than seven thousand five hundred square feet and no lot width shall be less than seventy-five feet. (Ord. 93 §1(10.3), 1982)
17.20.040 Lot coverage.
The entire lot exclusive of required yards and parking may be occupied by the principal and accessory buildings. (Ord. 93 §1(10.4), 1982)
17.20.050 Yards.
Every lot in the B-2 district shall have the following minimum yards:
A. Front yard, twenty feet;
B. Rear yard, five feet;
C. Side yards, five feet each side. (Ord. 93 §1(10.5), 1982)
17.20.060 Building height.
Maximum building height in this district shall be thirty-five feet. (Ord. 93 §1(10.6), 1982)
17.20.070 Off-street parking.
Off-street parking shall be provided in accordance with Chapter 17.42 of this title. (Ord. 93 §1(10.7), 1982)
17.20.080 Off-street loading.
Off-street loading shall be provided in accordance with Chapter 17.44 of this title. (Ord. 93 §1(10.8), 1982)
