PARKS AND TREE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

2.32.020 Arbor Day observance.
2.32.010 Established.
The city council hereby establishes a parks and tree advisory committee for the city of Eagle Point which shall consist of a five-member board to recommend public parks and tree policies for planting, maintenance and removals; to establish and update a list of recommended street tree species to be planted with spacing and location requirements; to establish and to periodically review a park system plan and park master plan for the parks within the city of Eagle Point; and to advise the city council and city staff on park and tree programs and facilities. 2.32.020 Arbor Day observance.
It is the intent of the city council to declare, once a year, an Arbor Day observance in complying with the standards of the Tree City USA program. [Res. 13-378, 1992].
