CONSTRUCTION STAGING AND MATERIALS STORAGE

12.08.030 Violation – Penalty.
12.08.010 Prohibited.
The placement of equipment, vehicles or materials on roadways or within street rights-of-way that restricts the safe and efficient use of the street, impedes cleaning or requires the use of city manpower and equipment or city contracted services to clean up or remove materials, equipment or vehicles from the rights-of-way is a violation of the provisions of this chapter. 12.08.020 Time limit.
The city recognizes the need to allow for the staging of construction activities and the delivery of materials to a home or construction site. However, the street is not intended to remain a storage area for construction equipment, construction vehicles, or construction materials including porta-potties. Therefore, no construction equipment or vehicles shall be parked or materials deposited on the roadway surface or within the street right-of-way longer than 24 hours. [Ord. 2001-4 § 2].
12.08.030 Violation – Penalty.
Violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be based upon the following schedule:
