SEWER AND WATER EXTENSIONS

3.20.010 Permit required.
No person shall construct or reconstruct a sewer or water line without first obtaining a permit from the city. A permit may contain conditions, including limitations on periods when construction and connection to the city systems may occur. [Ord. 272 § 1, 1985.]
3.20.020 Penalty.
A person who fails to obtain a permit required by this chapter, or who fails to follow conditions imposed by the permit, may be punished by a fine not to exceed $500.00. In addition, failure to obtain a permit or to follow conditions of a permit may result in a refusal by the city to allow connection to the water or sewer system. [Ord. 272 § 2, 1985.]
