CAMP SHERMAN GARBAGE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

2.08.010 Establishment of committee.

There is established a Camp Sherman garbage advisory committee (CSGAC). (Ord. O-75-97 § 1, 1997)

2.08.020 Purpose.

The purpose of the Camp Sherman garbage advisory committee shall be to administer, operate and maintain the privately funded solid waste transfer station located at Camp Sherman, Oregon. (Ord. O-75-97 § 2, 1997)

2.08.030 Committee membership.

The Camp Sherman garbage committee shall be comprised of no more than seven members. Members shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Jefferson County commission. The chairperson and three of the original appointees shall be appointed for two year terms. The remaining three original appointments shall be for one year. (Ord. O-142-2000 § 2(A), 2000: Ord. 2.08.040 Meetings, attendance and quorum.

A.    The committee shall meet at least monthly at a time and place fixed by the committee.

B.    A majority of the committee shall constitute a quorum for purposes of conducting the business of the committee. (Ord. O-75-97 § 5, 1997)

2.08.050 Powers and duties.

The committee shall exercise all powers necessary for the committee to fulfill its obligations pursuant to an agreement relating to Camp Sherman garbage transfer site entered into between Jefferson County, the committee and High Country Disposal. (Ord. O-75-97 § 6, 1997)
