DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN COUNTY LANDS FOR SANITARY PURPOSES

8.06.010 Designated.
A. The following designated County-owned land shall be set aside for the construction and maintenance of domestic and industrial waste facilities:
Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4),
Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4),
and the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 2, Township 37 South, Range 6
West of the Willamette Meridian, Josephine County, Oregon.
B. The County retains ownership of a buffer strip one-fourth mile in width around the above described property.
C. In the event said sanitary disposal facility should create an air or water pollution problem, the County will take immediate steps to correct the situation or abandon the area for such use. [Res. 10-28-64.]
