18.115.020 Authorization of similar uses.

The city council may rule that a use not specifically listed among the allowed uses in a zone shall be permitted as an allowed use, if it is similar to the allowed uses in the zone, if its effect on adjacent properties is substantially the same as that of allowed uses, and if it is not specifically listed as an allowed use in another zone. [Ord. 514 § 13.20, 2001].

18.115.030 Penalty.

A person violating a provision of this title shall, upon conviction, pay a fine of not more than $1,000. A violation of this title shall be considered a separate offense for each day that the violation continues. In the alternative, where a use exists or is proposed to be located, constructed, repaired, altered or used in violation of this title, the city may institute injunction, abatement or other appropriate proceedings to prevent, abate or remove such use. [Amended during 2011 codification; Ord. 514 § 13.30, 2001].

18.115.040 Severability.

The provisions of this title are severable. If an article, sentence, clause or phrase shall be adjudged by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this title. [Ord. 514 § 13.40, 2001].
