717.01 Presence or participation in disorderly house prohibited.

No person shall knowingly keep, be present and/or participate in an ill governed or disorderly house, building, room or place wherein gambling, drinking, any loud or boisterous conduct or language, or any other conduct or noises disturbs the peace and quiet of the neighborhood or orderly citizens. 717.02 Arrest.

Police officers may, upon complaint made or upon personal knowledge of any such offers that any house, room, building or place is or are used for the purposes aforesaid, arrest and commit for hearing any and all persons in whose possession or occupancy such place may be, together with all persons found therein when the conduct imperils the personal security of any person or endangers public or private property. 717.99 Penalty.

Any person who allows any house, building, room or place in his possession or occupancy to be used for any of the purposes prohibited by this article, and any person visiting any such house or other premises for any such purpose, shall be fined $300.00, together with costs, and in default of payment shall be imprisoned for not more than 30 days. Each day upon which such violations occur, subsequent to a first conviction therefor, shall be construed as constituting a separate and distinct offense under the provisions of this article.
