REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

2.25.010 Created.
Pursuant to Section 17B-4-201(1) of the Utah Redevelopment Agencies Act (the Act), Eagle Mountain City hereby creates and establishes the redevelopment agency of Eagle Mountain City (the agency) and directs that the requirements of Section 17B-4-201(2) and (3) of the Act be complied with to finalize the creation and establishment of the agency pursuant to law. 2.25.020 Membership.
Pursuant to Section 17B-4-203 of the Act, the governing body of the agency shall be a board consisting of the current members of the legislative body that created the agency, namely, the members of the city council of Eagle Mountain City. [Ord. O-09-2002 § 2].
2.25.030 Powers and duties.
The agency is authorized to enter into agreements generally in connection with redevelopment, economic development and education and housing development matters and shall have the power to transact the business of a redevelopment agency and also to exercise all the powers, rights, duties and privileges set forth and provided for in the Utah Redevelopment Agencies Act, Section 17B-4-101, et seq., Utah Code Annotated 1953, and any successor or replacement law or act, and as the same may from time to time be amended. All other provisions of applicable Utah state law, as the same may from time to time be amended, are hereby adopted by this reference as if fully set forth herein. [Ord. O-09-2002 § 3].
