7-6-2:    APPROACHES

7-6-1: NEW ROAD CONSTRUCTION:

Shall comply with Huntington City's and Castle Valley Special Service District's specifications and design. (Ord. 10-2011, 11-16-2011)

7-6-2: APPROACHES:

Existing residential property will be allowed twenty (20) feet of approach for every one hundred (100) feet, or portion thereof, of frontage on existing and/or dedicated streets.

This approach may be broken up at the discretion of the city and the property owner. Additional approach installation requested by the property owner may be installed at the owner's expense.

After curb and gutter has been installed by the city any future approaches needed by property owners shall be paid for by the property owner.

All work done by property owners on sidewalks, approaches or curb and gutter must be engineered by a city engineer and the work has to be done by a city approved contractor. The engineering costs shall be split between the property owner and the city on a fifty-fifty (50-50) basis. (Ord. 8-2015, 11-18-2015; Ord. 1-2015)
