2.05.010 Mileage stipend.
A. The minimum mileage stipend provided to an employee or agent of the town of Manila for the use of a non-town-owned vehicle when traveling on behalf of the community shall be raised from the current level to $0.485 per traveled mile.
B. The amount of stipend provided to an employee or agent of the town of Manila shall be determined by administrative staff of Manila in accordance with established or identified distances from Manila to the destination point of travel.
C. The determination of appropriate payment of mileage stipend will be the responsibility of Manila administration and dependent upon the establishment of the beneficial and necessary use of the vehicle for the town of Manila.
D. The enactment of the resolution codified in this section allows for the future council adjustment of the mileage stipend according to that current Internal Revenue Service allowable amount by majority council affirmation and without need for resolution revision. [Res. 2-10-05 §§ 1 – 3, 5.]
