6.05.010 Disposal of unclaimed dog.

At the expiration of the five-day period, any dog not so claimed by its owner may be disposed of by giving it into the possession of any person, or, if not so disposed of, it shall be killed in a humane manner by a peace officer or other designated official. 6.05.020 Enclosure required.

Every person who has in his possession or under his control any dog or bitch, within the corporate limits of this town, shall keep any such dog or bitch securely locked up from an hour after sunset of every day until an hour before sunrise of the following day. 6.05.030 Running at large.*

No person who owns or is in possession of a dog shall permit it to run at large within the city limits of Manila. [Ord. 4-17-08 § 4; Ord. 11-14-62 § 8; Ord. 12-6-61 § 8.]

6.05.040 Right of entry.

In the enforcement of any provision of this chapter, any peace officer or his assistants are authorized to enter the premises of any person to take possession of collarless, fierce, dangerous or vicious dangerous dogs when in fresh pursuit of such dog at the time the dog goes into private property. 6.05.050 Violation, penalty.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than $10.00, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding 30 days or by both such fine and imprisonment.
