15.05.010 Building code adopted.
That certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the town clerk of the town of Manila, being marked and designated as “Uniform Building Code, Volume III, 1970 Edition, published short form by the International Conference of Building Officials,” be and the same is hereby adopted as the building code of the town of Manila for regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area, and maintenance of all buildings and/or structures in the town of Manila; providing for issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; providing penalties for violation of such code; declaring and establishing fire zones; and each and all the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions, and terms of such “Uniform Building Code, 1970 Edition, published short form by the International Conference of Building Officials,” on file in the office of the town clerk are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this chapter. 15.05.020 Fire districts.
The entire incorporated area of the town of Manila is hereby declared to be and is hereby established as a fire district and said fire district shall be known and designated as fire zones 1, 2, and 3, and each such zone shall include such territory or portion of said town as illustrated, outlined, and designated on a certain map on file in the office of the town clerk of the town of Manila, being marked and designated as “Fire Zones of the Town of Manila” which is hereby adopted as the fire zoning map of the town of Manila for the application of the regulations included in the “Uniform Building Code, 1970 Edition, published short form by the International Conference of Building Officials.” [Ord. 6-3-71B § 3.]
