IMPACT FEE GENERAL PROVISIONS

16.05.020 Purpose of impact fee ordinance.
16.05.010 Title.
This title shall be known and cited as the impact fee ordinance of the town of Manila, Utah. [Ord. 8-8-19 § 3 (Exh. A).]
16.05.020 Purpose of impact fee ordinance.
The purpose and intent of the impact fee ordinance is:
A. To establish uniform procedures for the imposition, calculation, collection, expenditure and administration of impact fees imposed on new development;
B. To facilitate the implementation of the goals, objectives and policies of the town of Manila general plan and zoning ordinances, and assuring that new impact-producing development contributes its fair share towards the costs of providing capital facilities reasonably necessitated by such development;
C. To ensure that new development is reasonably benefited by the provision of capital facilities provided by impact fees;
D. To ensure that all applicable legal standards are properly incorporated. [Ord. 8-8-19 § 3 (Exh. A).]
16.05.030 Authority.
The mayor and town council of the town of Manila, Utah, adopts this impact fee ordinance pursuant to and in accordance with the Utah State Impact Fees Act. [Ord. 8-8-19 § 3 (Exh. A).]
