12-6-101 Adoption of Health Department Regulations.

The inspection, grading, regrading and placarding of eating and drinking establishments within the City, the issuing, suspension, and revocation of permits for the operation of such establishments, the sale of adulterated, misbranded, or unwholesome food and drink, and the enforcement of this Chapter shall be regulated in accordance with the current rules and regulations enforced by the City-County Health Department of Utah County, three copies of which shall be on file in the office of the City Recorder and available for public inspection as required by state law.

12-6-102 Penalty.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this Chapter or of the regulations adopted hereby shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be liable to punishment by a fine in an amount not to exceed $299.00, or by imprisonment for a term not to exceed six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each and every violation shall constitute a separate offense.
