PLANNING COMMISSION

2.12.010 Creation.
The Adams County planning commission shall consist of seven members to be appointed by the board of county commissioners in compliance with the nominating procedures specified in RCW 36.70.080. (Ord. O-02-11 § 1: Ord. O-11-91 § 1)
2.12.020 Members—Terms.
Initial terms for members of the commission shall be as follows: Two shall be appointed for one year, two shall be appointed for two years, two shall be appointed for three years, and three shall be appointed for four years. Thereafter, the successors to the first members shall be appointed for four-year terms. (Ord. O-11-91 § 2)
2.12.030 Powers—Duties.
The planning commission shall have all the powers and perform each and all of the duties specified by RCW Chapter 36.70, together with any other duties or authority which may be conferred upon the commission by state law or county ordinance. (Ord. O-11-91 § 3)
2.12.040 Quorum.
A majority of the members of the commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. (Ord. O-11-91 § 4)
