COUNTY BUILDING SECURITY

2.64.020 Use of Othello district courtroom and commissioners’ office restricted.
2.64.010 Responsibility.
A. The director of public works is responsible for the care, maintenance and security of all county buildings (except the county jail) and is responsible for the proper issuance and control of all keys for the buildings. Key inventories are to be maintained and accounted for by properly auditable procedures.
B. The authority to order issuance of keys for each department shall rest solely with the heads of that department. (Res. 88-79)
2.64.020 Use of Othello district courtroom and commissioner’s office restricted.
The policy for use of these rooms in the county services building shall be as follows:
Usage shall be granted for a group or agency only when an employee of the county is present to be responsible for security and any necessary cleanup. (Res. R-40-92)
