5.12.010 License—Authority.

The clerk of the board of county commissioners is authorized to issue licenses for dances and dancehalls in conformity with Chapter 111 of the session laws of 1923, and for fixing fees for said dancehalls. (Res. dated 7/2/23 (part))

5.12.020 License—Fees.

A.    It is ordered that license fees for dancehalls without the corporate limits of any city or town within the county, be and the same are fixed to be in the sum of twenty-five dollars a year, and they are fixed in the sum of fifteen dollars should the applicant desire only a quarterly license and the license fee is fixed in the sum of five dollars for a single dance.

B.    It is ordered that the clerk of the board of county commissioners, in the absence of the board, shall have the power to pay upon the applications for licenses and to issue the same upon the payment of the license fee, the same as though the board of county commissioners could, were they in session.
