3.90.010 Police department fees.

The following police department fees apply:

Black and white copies of collision reports to insurance companies

$5.00

Collision reports to the involved parties

No charge.

Fingerprinting – Inked hard copies

$10.00 per card.

Fingerprinting – Live scan

3.90.020 Miscellaneous items.

Certain fees for miscellaneous items apply:

Postage/delivery services and other delivery methods

Actual costs. Advance payment may be required. The city will only provide fax copies if the city incurs no expense for long-distance charges.

Certification by city clerk

$5.00 per certification.

Notary

$5.00 – Fee waived for city business.

Fees related to municipal court services

As authorized by Washington State Court Rules. Refer to Bonney Lake municipal court for applicable local fees.

3.90.025 Public records disclosure fees.

A. The city charges actual costs for scans of large-format sheets as follows:

Scans of large-format sheets (documents over 11" x 17")

$0.48 per impression (each side of a document) for grayscale scan to electronic format (PDF, JPG or TIF).

$0.95 per impression for color scan (each side of a document) to electronic format (PDF, JPG or TIF).

Alternatively, if services are provided by a vendor, then the actual costs of the vendor shall be passed along to the requester.

B. For all other records requests the city charges the default statutory fees for public records as established in the Revised Code of Washington. (Ord. 1617 § 3, 2019).

3.90.030 Maps and prints made with plotter.

The following fees for maps and prints made with the plotter apply:

3.90.040 City facility rental.

The following usage rates apply for use of the following city facilities:

Given that the rental rate includes the cost of a building monitor, rental rates may be reduced by 50 percent if a member of rental group is a city employee who agrees to serve as the building monitor at his/her sole expense, and is so approved in advance by the city.

The Justice and Municipal Center rental rate shall be reduced by 30 percent if both facilities are rented simultaneously.

The city may retain a portion of the damage deposit if rental activities require city staff to incur additional labor to return the facility to pre-use condition, even though there may have been no physical damage. Examples include but are not limited to: removal of balloons or other items caught in a ceiling fan, removing stains to carpet, general cleanup, and trash removal. 3.90.050 Community garden annual fees.

The following annual fees apply to the community garden:

Single plot – $25.00; double plot – $50.00.

Senior and disabled persons who qualify for a water rate discount under BLMC 13.04.100(A) shall receive a 50 percent discount for a garden plot. Any adult who has a current valid Washington State Electronic Benefits (EBT) food stamps card shall receive a 50 percent discount for a garden plot.
