CONSTRUCTION PERMITS FOR PRIVATE ROAD APPROACHES

12.20.010 Applicability.

The City of Bonney Lake Road Approach Control Regulations, together with all amendments thereto, shall govern and control the construction, repair, alteration and use of all approaches to city roads within the city of Bonney Lake, and are hereto incorporated into law by reference. (Ord. 601 § 1, 1988).

12.20.020 Permits for construction, repair or alteration.

No person or organization shall construct, repair or alter any approach to any city road without first obtaining a road approach permit from the city and otherwise complying with all requirements set forth in the City of Bonney Lake Road Approach Control Regulations. (Ord. 601 § 2, 1988).

12.20.030 Permits required for change of use.

No person or organization shall further subdivide any property or change the use of an existing structure or improve any developed property in such a way as to increase the required number of parking stalls on said property by more than 20 percent; or increase the actual traffic volume from an existing approach by more than 20 percent unless:

A. A road approach permit is obtained from the city; and

B. The approach conforms to the standards set forth in the City of Bonney Lake Approach Control Regulations. (Ord. 601 § 3, 1988).

12.20.040 Regulations available at City Hall.

The City of Bonney Lake Road Approach Standards and Conditions shall be available for inspection at the City Hall during normal business hours or may be purchased at a cost of $5.00. (Ord. 601 § 4, 1988).

12.20.050 Penalty for violation.

Any person, firm or corporation who fails to obtain the necessary permit or comply with the requirements of the City of Bonney Lake Approach Control Regulations shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. (Ord. 601 § 5, 1988).

12.20.060 Fees.

The following road approach fees apply:

Patching Fees

Residential approach    $ 50.00

Major approach    100.00

Minor approach    100.00

Temporary approach    50.00
