12.04.010 Sanitary sewage disposal system declared part of waterworks utility.

The sanitary sewage disposal system of the city, and all additions and improvements thereto, shall be considered as a part of and belonging to the waterworks utility of the city. The cost of construction and installation of additions and improvements to the system and the maintenance and operation of the system as improved shall be charged to the waterworks utility of the city. Any rates and charges which may be collected hereafter for sewage disposal service shall be paid into the water and sewer revenue fund of the city. (Ord. 85 § 2, 1950)

12.04.020 Water and sewer revenue fund.

There is created in the office of the city clerk-treasurer a special fund of the city to be known as the “water and sewer revenue fund,” into which shall be paid all of the gross earnings and revenues of the water and sewerage systems, and all additions and improvements thereto, as the same are collected. All costs of operating and maintaining the water and sewerage systems, and all payments required to be made into the bond redemption fund and the reserve accounts shall be paid out of the water and sewer revenue fund.
