2.36.010 Treasurer.

The city treasurer, before entering upon the duties of his office, shall execute a bond to the city in the penal sum of $10,000, conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties according to the law, which bond shall be subject to the approval of the city council. The premium or charge for such bond, when given by a surety company, shall be paid out of the current expense fund of the city. (Ord. 470 §§ 1, 2, 1931).

2.36.020 Clerk.

The clerk shall be bonded in the sum of $2,000. The premium on such bond of the clerk, where surety company bonds are used, shall be paid out of the current expense fund of the city. (Ord. 251 §§ 2, 4, 1913).

2.36.030 Police chief.

The police chief shall be bonded in the sum of $500.00. The premium on such bond of the police, where surety company bonds are used, shall be paid out of the current expense fund of the city. (Ord. 251 §§ 3, 4, 1913).

2.36.040 Attorney.

The attorney shall give the bond in the sum of $1,000. (Ord. 50 § 4, 1891; Ord. 26, 1890).

2.36.050 Police justice.

The police justice shall give bond in the sum of $500.00. (Ord. 50 § 5, 1891; Ord. 26, 1890).

2.36.060 Sureties.

All bonds shall be signed by at least two sufficient sureties, who shall qualify as sureties as required by sureties upon bail and arrest. (Ord. 50 § 6, 1891; Ord. 26, 1890).
