9.20.100 Crimes relating to animals – Adopted by reference.

The following sections of RCW Titles 9 and 16, as now in effect, and as may subsequently be amended, are adopted by reference to establish crimes relating to animals under the Burien criminal code:

9.20.200 Injury to animals.

Any person who willfully and without authority in law kills, maims or disfigures an animal belonging to another, or exposes any poisons or noxious substance with intent that it should be taken by such animal, is guilty of a misdemeanor. [Ord. 63 § 83, 1993]

9.20.300 Wounding or trapping of an animal.

Any person who wilfully and without authority in law kills, wounds or traps an animal or bird, or removes or destroys the young of any such animal or the egg of any such bird is guilty of a misdemeanor. [Ord. 63 § 84, 1993]
