BURNING PERMITS1

8.12.010 Permit – Required.

It is unlawful for any person to burn any rubbish, trash, or other waste material within the corporate limits of the city or to set any fire therein, without first obtaining a permit so to do from the chief of the fire department of said city. (Ord. 148 § 1, 1936).

8.12.020 Leaving fire unattended unlawful.

It is unlawful for any person who shall set a fire as herein provided to leave the same unattended, or without first putting it out. (Ord. 148 § 2, 1936).

8.12.030 Penalty.

Any person found guilty of violating any provision of this chapter shall be found guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined in any amount not exceeding ten dollars and costs. (Ord. 148 § 3, 1936).
