BRIDGE WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS

8.16.010 Maximum weight load limits.
The maximum weight load limit on all county bridges shall not exceed the gross weight limits for vehicles as are set forth by the laws of the state of Washington; provided, that it shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to drive upon any of the bridges as are set forth and described in this chapter when the gross load limits exceed the weight in tons as herein set forth for the various bridges described herein, as follows:

8.16.015 Posting.
The county engineer shall post all bridges as indicated in Section 8.16.010 and provide inspections to determine condition and proper current posting. 8.16.020 Penalty for violations.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
