9.08.010 Roads designated arterials.

The following roads in Chelan County shall be designated as arterial main traveled highways:

Chelan-Manson Road—From the westerly limits of town of Chelan westerly to Manson, length 7.9 miles.

Entiat Road—From an intersection with the Wenatchee-Chelan Highway in Section 17-25-21; thence westerly to the north line of Section 3-25-20, length 6.0 miles.

Wenatchee-Malaga—From the southerly limits of city of Wenatchee; thence easterly to the east line of Section 27-22-20, length 7.5 miles.

Miller Street—From an intersection with the Sunset Highway State Road #2 in Section 33-23-20; thence south to the southeast corner of Section 16-22-20, length 3.3 miles.

Pioneer Avenue—From the westerly limits of town of Cashmere west, to the west line of Section 6-23-19, length 2.0 miles.

Squillchuck Road—From the southerly limits of city of Wenatchee; thence southerly to the south line of Section 22-22-20, length 4.7 miles.

Stevens Pass Highway—From an intersection with the Sunset Highway (State Road #2) in Section 21-24-18; thence westerly to the summit of Cascade Mountains, length 55.0 miles.

Wenatchee-Chelan—From an intersection with the Sunset Highway (State Road #2) in Section 28-23-20; thence northerly to the westerly limits of town of Chelan, length 35.1 miles. (Res. dated July 5, 1927 at Vol. 145 page 324).

9.08.020 Signs to be posted.

The county engineer is authorized and instructed to have all roads, streets, ways, or driveways entering such arterial main traveled highways properly posted. (Res. dated 7/5/27, Vol. 145, p. 324).

9.08.030 Boetzke Avenue—Designated arterial.

Boetzke Avenue in the Supplemental Plat of Manson is declared an arterial highway from Ameno Street easterly to Tantiiako Street. (Res. 304-A (part), 5/6/64).

9.08.040 Boetzke Avenue—Stop signs.

The county road engineer is directed to place stop signs on all streets leading into Boetzke Avenue. (Res. 304-A (part), 5/6/46).

9.08.050 Road No. 163—Designated arterial—Stop sign.

County Road No. 163 in the vicinity of the Dryden School shall be designated an arterial highway and a stop sign shall be erected on the Old State Highway No. 2 at the intersection with County Road No. 163. (Res. 140-B, 10/18/48).

9.08.060 Blewett Cut-Off Road—Designated arterial—Stop sign.

The Blewett Cut-Off Road, County Road No. 159, is designated an arterial road and the stop sign at the junction shall be changed to stop traffic entering it from the old PSH No. 2. (Res. 321-D, 7/20/59).

9.08.070 Burch Mountain Road—Designated arterial—Stop sign.

The Burch Mountain Road is an arterial road. Traffic entering the Burch Mountain Road from side roads shall come to a stop before entering. The county engineer is authorized and directed to erect appropriate legal stop signs at these intersections. (Res. 97-F, 11/15/71).
