24.09.030 Permit to operate.

(1)    To qualify for a permit, an applicant must:

(a)    Obtain an application form from Clark County public health and pay applicable fees to Clark County public health at the time the form is submitted;

(b)    Be an owner of the food establishment or an officer of the legal ownership;

(c)    Comply with the requirements of this code and all codes adopted by reference as stated above; and

(d)    Agree to allow Clark County public health access to the establishment and to provide required information.

(2)    No person shall operate a food establishment who does not have a valid permit issued by Clark County public health. This requirement must also be met by alternative food facilities such as, but not limited to, mobile food units, temporary food establishments and bed and breakfast operations.

(3)    A permit may not be transferred from one (1) person to another person, from one (1) food establishment to another, or from one (1) type of operation to another (if the type of operation specified in the current permit application changes, the change must be approved by Clark County public health).
