36.04A.210 Telecommunications commission—Meetings.

The commission shall meet as often as is necessary for it to fulfill its duties, but not less than twice annually, except that meetings shall occur once every three (3) months beginning thirty-six (36) months (a) prior to expiration of a cable television franchise, or (b) immediately after a new cable television provider entrant applies for a cable television franchise from the county, and this modified schedule will continue until a new cable television franchise has been granted. Attendance by a majority of members appointed shall constitute a quorum for purposes of conducting business. Meetings shall be open to the public and notice shall be given to the press and news media as required by state law. Notice of meetings shall also be given to the local manager at the local office of any current cable franchise grantee in the same manner as required by state law for notice to the press and news media.
