GENERAL PROVISIONS

16.04.010 Title.
The regulations contained in this title shall be referred to officially as "the subdivision regulations of the city of Colfax, Washington" and "regulations" or "subdivision regulations" when used in this title mean and shall have the force and effect of ordinance provisions of Colfax. (Ord. 1161 §1(part), 1984).
16.04.020 Purpose.
In order to promote the realization of a comprehensive plan for Colfax; in order to provide reasonable requirements for public streets, community facilities and other public areas; in order to provide for the health, safety and general welfare of the residents of the city; in order that developers of land may have a procedural guide, the following regulations establishing reasonable standards of design and procedure for plats, subdivisions, resubdivisions and dedications of land within the city are established and adopted. 16.04.030 Administration.
Authority for the administration of these regulations shall be vested in the council. (Ord. 1161 §1(part), 1984).
16.04.040 Scope.
These regulations shall apply to and govern all plats, subdivisions, resubdivisions and dedications of land within the corporate limits of the city submitted after June 1, 1984. (Ord. 1161 §1(part), 1984).
